About the Civic Club
The Assyrian American Civic Club of Chicago is a non-for-profit organization without any political or religious orientation which is democratic in structure and professional in nature, organized under the law of state of Illinois.
The aim of this organization is the creation, promotion and spread of Assyrian culture, literature and heritage, the preservation of Assyrian customs, national traditions and folklores among the members of the Assyrian Diaspora in addition to, the American community at large in greater Chicago.
The Assyrian American Civic Club of Chicago was founded in 1975.

Christmas Party
The Assyrian American Police Association hosting their 5th annual Christmas Party on Sunday, December 7, 2008 at 7:00 PM at Juliana's Restaurant at 3001 W. Peterson in Chicago. Please join them for appetizers, dinner 2 hours open bar and live entertainment. All proceeds benefit the Assyrian American Police Association's youth programs.

Thanksgiving Party
The Youth Association of the Church of the East hosting a Thanksgiving Party at Hanging Gardens on Friday, November 28th at 7:30 PM. The singers for the party are Esam Sawa and Oleen Rehana. Tickets are $25.00 for adults, and $10.00 for children 10 and younger. And $5.00 of every ticket sold will go to the Assyrian Church of the East Relief Organization (ACERO).

Soup Kitchen
It's that time of year again. Please help the youth ssociation of the Assyrian Church of the East feed those in need at Saint John's Parish on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2008 until 8:00 pm. There are many ways you can help them out. You can donate turkeys, help serve food or clean up at Saint John's. They are also accepting monetary donations. This event is great way to connect with one another and help others at the same time.
